👯 I thought about writing a testimonial for my mom and her services as a travel agent from a less personal point of view, but decided it makes more sense to talk about my experiences traveling with her from my own lens as her daughter since I do know her so well. 

🧳 While I can’t give an account for the planning my mom did for the trips we took growing up since I was a child, I would like to share a few memories of my childhood travels and I will also share about my travel experiences with her since becoming an adult and seeing the bigger picture of travel and all that goes into it. 

✈️ As a child, my parents took my brothers and I on countless trips to give us as many diverse  experiences as possible. We went to Disney World and DisneyLand which hold very fond memories for us. As I got older, I remember taking a big trip out West where we went all over from Los Angeles, California to Las Vegas, Nevada (we rode a helicopter through the Grand Canyon!) to Yellowstone National Park in Idaho. In high school, she took me on my first cruise where we traveled to The Bahamas, Mexico, and Jamaica. Let’s just say my parents did an incredible job of taking us on memorable trips and I’m forever grateful for our shared experiences. 

🗓️ If we weren’t traveling somewhere new, we were going to our favorite destination in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina most summers. I feel very fortunate that we were able to travel as much as we did… and now my mom has decided to take her expertise and turn it into her own travel agency! She is the perfect person for this job not only from her extensive history in planning trips, but especially in her ability to think about every possible scenario when it comes to having an amazing vacation experience. She truly goes above and beyond in all she does, but her trips are honestly phenomenal. 

👧👦 If you’re traveling with a child, or multiples, she knows all the ins and outs of making things easier with kids. (She took ALL 6 of her grandkids to Disney World on separate trips on her own when they turned 5!) When we went as a family, she found all the best spots for us to allow our little one to nap. My favorite napping memory is riding the Carousel of Progress 6 times in a row while the littles slept in our laps! I’ll forever be singing, “There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow…!” in the back of my mind. 😂

🏖️ If you want a relaxing vacation, you will need to tell her this is your goal. Otherwise, she will plan a jam-packed adventure maximizing every minute of your trip! She can, of course, do a combination of these, but I want to be very clear about her ability to maximize your time (and finances) to give you and your family the most incredible trip to remember for a lifetime. 

🧠 I now know where I got my Type A personality from…  I am a planner in all forms, just like my mom. While I do find some enjoyment from planning trips, my mom LOVES to make travel plans. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but she truly enjoys sifting through the endless amounts of companies (wanting your money) in search of the very best deals getting you to the vacation of your dreams! 👙🍷🌴🐚🌊

Dusena helped us book a wonderful cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line to the Eastern Caribbean. She was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process and ensured we had everything we need for a good trip. Dusena even helped us rebook twice when the price of the cruise was lowered with promotions. She also sent some adorable fridge magnets to commemorate the special trip I can’t say enough great things about Magical Castles and Cruises! I can’t wait to work with Dusena for my next getaway!
